SM City San Pablo: The Mall That Doubles as a Gateway

SM City San Pablo, on the Maharlika Highway in the Brgy. San Rafael area, is the city's main mall — supermarket, department store, national food chains, cinema, banks, and service centers — and, just as importantly, the de facto bus stop where Manila–Lucena buses drop and pick up San Pablo passengers.

Every provincial city has the place where all errands converge; in San Pablo it's SM. Even if malls aren't your idea of travel, you'll likely pass through — it's the landmark conductors know, the tricycle staging ground, and the air-conditioned reset button between lake trips.

What's inside

The transport hub role

Buses between Manila and Lucena stop at the highway frontage: arriving, tell the conductor "SM San Pablo" and step off into a waiting rank of tricycles; departing, flag northbound buses from the opposite side. Full routes and fares in the transport guide.
